I've Been Diced! episode 31: Three player games

Three gamers walk into a bar. So what do they play? We discuss three player boardgames: which ones are good, and what makes them work. Plus, a quick historical overview of Eastern Front wargames. Which is a history of history, really. (c) 2012 Tom Grant

  1. I am currently listening to this podcast and I am disappointed that you did not initially list The End of the Triumvirate. This one was designed for just three players. I highly recommend it if you have not tried it out.

    1. Aaaaaand, I just listened to the Mage Knight episode. Glad to hear someone already turned you on to End of the Triumvirate.

I am liking the podcast thus far. Good stuff.

  2. I think your 4X game ended the way it did because of the decision not to track the technology levels of ships. Otherwise the invading fleet will probably be several generations behind the Home defense fleet. I think I would also Home rule that mines cannot leave the system in which they were built.
